Vaitea is a multidisciplinary artist rooted in Hip Hop culture, born in New Zealand to an Italian mother and a French father of Polish origin. Raised between different musical worlds — from Tahitian rhythms to jazz, French songwriting and reggae — she developed a fluid artistic language that moves between rap, singing and spoken word in Italian, French and English. Active for years within the Italian and European Hip Hop scenes, she has collaborated with a wide range of artists across Hip Hop, jazz and electronic music, while also working as a DJ, radio host and cultural organizer. Her practice extends beyond music into event curation and independent creative projects.
