NOBEL

The Milan-based producer, DJ, and label owner Nobel aka Francesco Bocchini started producing and releasing electronic music in 2010, and since then he already appeared on pivotal labels such as Top Billin, Feelings, Lucky Beard, and Meanbucket. With his and Natlek's outcome Merge Layers, born in 2016, Nobel has been pushing cutting-edge, multiphasic club anthems mostly suitable for unlit basements and calling for unrestrained dance moves.

Fall 2020 is when Nobel's latest effort sees the light of day, this time pairing with 72 Hours Post Fight drummer Andrea Dissimile. Called Risk EP, the release comes after Nobel's collaborative track Legacy together with Lorenzo BITW and keeps on with the quest for the rawest club banger, slowed down just a notch to leave room for a more experimental approach. For this work, momentarily departing from 72 Hours Post Fight post-rock liturgies that already brought by critical acclaim and key festival appearances, Unlike provides numerous drum takes and loops that have then been used as sample structure material by Nobel, who turns sketches into multilayered grooves of dry, minimal precision.
