ALEX DE PONTI

Heavily influenced by the early House movement, Alex De Ponti was exposed to rough and ready dance music from day one. Spinnin' naturally became an obsession, and after a couple of years Alex’s musical diet started inevitably expanding and put him on the path to the extreme eclecticism he is renowned for today, playing disco, house and r&b with no boundaries. From early 2000's till now, Alex has played in many clubs, from Milan through London, Paris and New York. Since 2006 he is co-founder of Vinylbrokers, one of the most important sources of wax in Milan completely focused on second-hand classics. In 2015 the record store team started Groovin Recordings, a record label focused on repressing on vinyl underground house and dance classics. Alex is currently taking care of the label as A&R, after eight years Groovin has established as one of the main vinyl label worldwide starting also to release new productions, from r&b and disco to deep and jazzy-house.
