Cosimo Contursi, born in 1994, is an Italian record collector and music producer.

Since 2007, he has been nurturing a deep passion for vinyl music, exploring various genres, including '80s and '90s techno and house. His journey brought him closer to the world of sound and audio, as well as synthesizers and various musical instruments.

After years of cultivating his passion and interest in music, he decided to take his dedication to the next level. In 2017, he earned a degree in Sound Engineering from the Sae Institute in Milan. This educational path provided him with a strong foundation of technical and creative skills, allowing him to deepen his understanding of the audio world from every angle.

Following the completion of his studies, he embarked on a career as an audio technician, working with a company specialized in designing and creating audio systems and audio/visual installations.

In 2019, he launched the music project 'Cosmee,' an embodiment of his passion for house music with captivating electro influences. Subsequently, in 2021, another project called 'Nicto' was born, characterized by more distorted and gritty sounds, delving into sonic territories with limited space for melodic elements – an interpretation of what we identify as 'techno' in its primal form.

In 2023, following the pandemic, he returned to the Milanese music scene, releasing two vinyl albums and announcing a third release set to come out this winter.

It appears that Cosimo Contursi has undergone a fascinating personal and professional journey in the world of music and audio, exploring different facets of genres and contributing his creativity to the music scene.
